We had a wonderful stay at Maison Matejewski in Blaye. Hervé, the owner, was a delightful host and made us feel most comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated with both his art and others, creating a unique and artistic ambiance. The breakfast was outstanding, with delicious homemade jams and a lovely garden to enjoy. Hervé's advice and help were greatly appreciated, and his dog Gangster was a charming addition. We highly recommend staying at this BnB.

Great spot for a quick stay, super cute decor, and a really interesting vibe here. the rooms are so chic and the garden is just lovely 🌿. It's about a 20-minute walk to catch a bus. Definitely a top pick if you're staying around here.

The room at Maison Matejewski Chambre D'Hotes Avec Jardin had a cozy and homely atmosphere, making me feel right at home. The electric kettle in the double room was a life-saver for my morning coffee fix. I was lucky to have a room with city views, which added a touch of charm to my stay. The soundproofing in the double room made it incredibly peaceful and allowed me to have a good night's sleep.

Personally, I wasn't too fond of the bed linen and towels provided, but others may find them perfectly comfortable.

It was such a wonderful oasis to come back to after a day of exploring the surrounding countryside. The staff was also incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The delicious breakfasts they spoiled us with were a real treat!

The only thing I would have asked for to make this vacation even better for senior people is a bit more assistance from the staff. Being an older traveler, sometimes I could have used an extra hand or two with carrying luggage or helping with any mobility concerns.
